Dear Members,
Please be advised that the next AGM for Edgworth Bowling Club will be held on Friday 13th February 2026 from 6:30pm in the Barlow Library.
Your existing management committee (Kerry, Andy, Joan, Ronnie, Andrew, Kevin) are all intending to stand for re-election to continue their current roles. In addition, Brian Elwell has agreed to join the committee this year, subject to election, following his sterling work for the club last year on one of its sub-committees.
The committee do not have any constitution changes or proposals to submit to the meeting, however if any member wishes to submit a proposal for consideration at the meeting, it must be with the Secretary no later than January 30th 2026. Also, if any other club member is considering joining the committee, please contact the Secretary in the first instance.
Please note that as we are a private members club, only those who were full club members in 2025 may attend and vote on any matters at the meeting. Guests of members are not permitted to attend and we remind you that business conducted at the meeting should not be discussed with non-members / third parties.
Note that due to restrictions in use of my email account imposed by Microsoft during 2025, the AGM agenda, minutes of the Feb 2025 AGM plus relevant financial information will all be available in the Members Area of the club website. Unfortunately, I can no longer send attachments out; instead, where possible I will provide links to the data on the club website, plus a few paper copies will be made available at the meeting.
