In order to maintain the green in great conditions, it has become necessary to apply some chemicals to the green, which will be done this week on completion of the scheduled league matches.
The manufacturer’s instructions for the chemicals state that the area treated must be left undisturbed and not be walked on for a minimum of 4 days, therefore the Green WILL BE CLOSED from late afternoon Thursday 2nd May until 6pm Monday 6th May.
Unfortunately this means that the social bowling session on Friday, free sessions over the weekend and the club competition due to be held on Sunday will be cancelled.
Please do not use the Green at all during the above times.
