The Tommy Woods Trophy was played on 28th May and involved both Edgworth and Turton Bowling Clubs. After a great day’s bowling our congratulations go to our winner Stuart Duncan. Well done to our runner up Pauline Booth and the two losing semi-finalists, Phil Doel and David Brierley. Our thanks go to the organisers of the event, Ian Price, Stuart Duncan and Stewart Bailey and also to our wonderful Catering Team: Sue Beswick, Joyce Danks, Jackie Emmett, Eileen Hogarth and Margaret Whittaker. Raffle prizes were won by Joyce and Jackie who are donating them to the Friendship and Memory Cafe to enhance their raffle. Other raffle prizes were won by Mike Dickinson and Stuart Duncan.
